Are you a manager or entrepreneur who’s…

…drowning in To-Dos and struggling for air under an overpacked calendar?

…anxious about disappointing people by failing to complete projects on time?

…stressed out by all the things that Must Be Done, that can’t be done unless you stop sleeping entirely?

Hi, I’m Yvonne,

and I am hell-bent on changing the paradigm of “not-enough time” for managers and entrepreneurs so they can stop falling behind and start feeling on top of their game.

You’ve probably tried…

… courses, webinars, seminars, day planners, organizers, spreadsheets and productivity apps, but in the end, the new habits were hard to keep up with when shit happened

I know how this goes:

You've got a plan for an ultra-productive week, you’ve scheduled it out, even put in time for bathroom breaks and checking emails (which you usually forget to plan for), and it’s Monday morning at 8am and you feel like THIS IS THE WEEK! You’ve finally got a handle on it. Your new life of perfect ease and productivity starts now…

And then at 8:15 you get an email burning up your inbox with a fire only you can put out.

But that fire wasn't in your plan. It doesn't have a place on your schedule. You can’t ignore it. You have to deal with it. And it throws your entire week off.

And you are back to working weekends, feeling frazzled.

Been there, Done that, Got the t-shirt

I’ve been where you are. I promise!!!! I know how hard it is. And believe me, I had to learn the hard way. Juggling many balls and trying to keep them all in the air (while trying to be successful in all areas) is a tough act. I was so overwhelmed, feeling drained and always running short on time.

I knew there had to be a better way. And being the resourceful woman that I am, I set out to find it.  After a lot of trial and error, I figured out what works.

I do productivity and organization in a ‘get’er done and take no prisoners’ kind of way. You have to be ruthless, especially at first.

Fighting procrastination and committing to action is key.

Guarding your calendar to make time for deep work, housework and relaxation is vital (and very hard to do - at first!)

Building in time for the unexpected fires is key, and together we will do that. Let’s make your calendar fire-proof.

Finding a place for ALL areas of your life in your calendar is a cornerstone of my program. It’s not only the work items that should have time carved out.

And most importantly, you need someone to hold you accountable. To help you stick to your plan. I will be that person for you.

It doesn’t need to be so hard to get a handle on the important areas of your life.  Life should be fulfilling and enjoying every moment is our absolute right.

Why is my approach unique?

Time management and prioritization isn’t about one thing, it’s about a number of things that have to work together.  My program addresses each one of these components - deep work, managing your calendar, prioritization, accountability and many more.

Why work with me?

I have helped hundreds of managers and entrepreneurs stop spinning plates, prioritize and take charge of their calendars.

I love working with managers and entrepreneurs around time management.  It is the cornerstone to getting a handle on all other areas of life.  If you know where everything fits and when it will get done, then anxiety, stress and overwhelm naturally subside.

My clients have learned how to build in time for emergencies and last-minute asks so they no longer get thrown off by these unexpected requests and fires that come out of nowhere.

Not only do I have experience, but I also have the professional qualifications to do this work:

  • I hold a Bachelor’s degree (major: Industrial Relations) from McGill University in Canada

  • I am credentialed with the International Coaching Federation (PCC designation) which is currently the only governing body that oversees the coaching profession

  • I’m a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) with the Institute for Performance and Learning

  • I coach in English, French and Czech

What does my everyday look like now?

Organization and time management are my superpowers.  Like most of us, I still have a lot on the go. I love it because I have learned how to keep on top of it all while enjoying the different pieces that make up a full and colourful life.

Things can still get a little bit crazy from time to time.  But with the tools I have learned (and will teach you) I know how to get a handle on my schedule and time very quickly.  Never again will I let things spin out of control, feel frazzled, overwhelmed and anxious.

What I teach will have you completing work projects on schedule with no stress while still having time for your family and friends on the weekends.

You’ve got this!!!

Random facts about me:

  • I love stationery/paper stores.  I get so excited!  Binders, dividers, file folders, labels, oh my!  Totally nerdy, right?

  • My favourite movie is The Thomas Crown Affair.  It is smart, sexy and I love how seductive Renee Russo is.

  • One of my biggest adventures in Australia was abseiling/repelling). I was deathly afraid especially after getting stuck halfway down the cliff face.

  • I love Muskoka (Ontario - cottage country). It’s beautiful and let’s me reconnect with nature.

  • I used to live in Prague, Czech Republic where I ran a bespoke language agency for 15 years

  • I have a penchant for self-development. You’ll always find me taking a course, reading a nonfiction book, or listening to a podcast of some sort. The one book I would definitely recommend is The Slight Edge.
